* The Colorado Avalanche hockey team has brought up a player named Keaton Middleton from their farm team. He's a defenseman, which means he plays defense to stop the other team from scoring.
* They are bringing him up because they have a lot of games coming up soon, and they want to have an extra player ready just in case. This is happening while another player, Josh Manson, is hurt and can't play for a while.
* Keaton Middleton has played for the Avalanche before and has helped them in games. He's known for being a tough player on defense.
