* Artturi Lehkonen, a player for the Colorado Avalanche, is scoring a lot of goals right now, but he and the team haven't agreed on a new contract yet. He wants to stay in Colorado, but if he keeps playing so well, he might ask for more money than the team can afford.
* Lehkonen is in the last year of his current contract, and his new contract could be very expensive. The Avalanche also have other players with big contracts, which makes it hard to pay Lehkonen a lot of money.
* Because of these money issues, it's possible this is Lehkonen's last season playing for the Colorado Avalanche, even though he's been a good player for them.
