* The New Jersey Devils surprised everyone by not letting their new goalie, Connor Hellebuyck, play in a game against the Colorado Avalanche. This was strange because he had just played his first game for the Devils after being traded.
* Instead of Hellebuyck, another goalie named Jake Allen played, and a different goalie was the backup. The team didn't say why Hellebuyck wasn't playing, which made people wonder if he was hurt or if something else was going on.
* This situation shows that even when a team gets a star player, they still need other players to be ready to play if needed. We'll have to wait and see what the Devils say about Hellebuyck's future games.
